Fanzines are highly collectible books filled with stories, poetry and artwork created written and printed by Star Trek fans for Star Trek fans. Most were printed during the Golden Age  of Star Trek Fandom (1960's to the 1980's) when Gene Roddenberry, Star Trek's creator, wisely let the fans pretty much do what they wanted. The result was a fantastic flowering of fan creativity that supported the show and was one of the factors that made Star Trek such a unique phenomenon. Some of the art and writing was  brilliant and beautiful. Many writers and editors of these fanzines went on to work in the publishing field and some even worked on the TV series as writers. Below are some of the best examples. All are collectible, most are in new unread condition. "INTERPHASE" Fanzine edited by Connie Faddis was considered the best.
